Since the New Moon in Libra we have been in a sustained or self-sustaining recovery. This full Moon is a culmination point where the Moon is particularly strong. Good fortune, growth, abundance, and pleasure are all signatures of this lunation. The Moon is at her largest and there is something here to be reaped. Taurus as a sign is sensual, deliberate, and earthy. Taurus is a sign representative of Spring of sweet fortune where the growing light is sustained in the light half of the year. Think of the time of year where Spring has well and truly sprung, the earth is verdant and there is material growth in evidence.

The Moon is self-satisfied with her ruler Venus well placed in her other home of Libra. Venus now sits on the degree of the New Moon at the 28^th degree of Libra from two weeks before. A reminder perhaps of something from two weeks ago, a continuation of a Venusian conversation of love, art, music, and friendship?  . Last time it was the Moon and this time it is Venus that is square an exalted Jupiter in Cancer. We may go a little overboard with this signature. Venus is separating from Jupiter’s influence and so the overindulgence might not last long. As the saying goes “moderation in everything even moderation itself”.  

Mercury and Mars have emerged from the grand water trine that occurred earlier this month. Both have now moved into Sagittarius, both also ruled by the strong Jupiter in Cancer. Both planets were in testimony with Jupiter & Saturn in a grand water trine at the last new Moon. Now they are drying off and separating from one another in Sagittarius. We may have learned something in the last two weeks of ways to communicate the truth as we see it but to smooth the rough edges of our words. To add a gentle fluidity and choosing kindness in our thoughts and our speech.

Éirígí Arís! /We Rise Again!

These last few weeks from mid-October into early November has been awash with the benefics. With all this sweet abundance full of gesture and grace there is a sharp kick of spice being added to the mix. This tastes different, full of heat and unpredictability. Mars on entry into Sagittarius has encountered Uranus in an exact opposition in the days running up to this full Moon.  Though Mercury has separated from Mars at this Full Moon it is still ruling Uranus in Gemini. So the trickster has a voice in this testimony spoken through the ingenuity and rebellious nature of Uranus. A high energy aspect fuelling spoken truths, sharp observation and quick witted retort. Critical thinking may be in evidence, criticality of a presentation of particular truths or how ‘truth’ itself is viewed.

At the Mars Mercury conjunction in Scorpio close to the Libra New Moon the world experienced website outages due to a bug in Amazon Web Services. This outage began an interesting conversation about who owns the internet. The monopoly that some companies have on our most powerful communications systems with a global reach. As Mars comes into opposition with a Mercury ruled Uranus with Mercury co present we may see a continuation of this discussion. Suggestions of greater regulation of online infrastructure or the online landscape. More information about the outage itself may be unearthed at this time to give us a greater understanding of what human fallibility lies behind the glossy walls of these global tech giants.

Regardless of the outcome our Promethean friend Uranus retraces its steps back into Taurus about 3 days after the full Moon. Returning to the domicile of Venus from 8 November. Expect a vibe shift as the frenetic pace of Uranus in Gemini of the summer months to slow down and even possibly grind a bit as it retrogrades into Taurus. It will add a spark once more to that Taurus part of your chart. There is some final business to attend to in Taurus from November 2025 to April 2026. A preparatory time to finish something up before Uranus enters Gemini proper. It might be a good time to take any downtime that comes your way before the pace picks up once more. Added to this Neptune and Saturn in Pisces there may be a visitation or a review of the events of early 2025. A review before we get flung into the greater paradigm shift the outer planets bring from 2026.

Enjoy the fruits of what this full Moon brings. Where I am the clocks have fallen back an hour and we are now in Winter proper. The Sun is in Scorpio the great lunar sustainer of the dark in the dark half of the year. This full Moon is a bite of sweetness and a sampling of the good stuff that we’ve collected from the summer months. Use it to soothe any frayed nerves from the outer planetary shifts that we’ve experienced over the summer. We’ve gotten a taste of what’s to come again in 2026. The Mars Uranus opposition will likely fire up your mind and nervous system while the body is craving the soporific. Its opposite ends of a spectrum so turn to the Venusian to soothe yourself in the dark months and to sustain recovery so that we can all meet 2026 with much needed vigour.
