New Moon in Aries chart from astro-seek.com

This new Moon seeding is super charged and highly energetic. The ruler of the Moon is Mars and he is applying to a conjunction with Saturn while separating from a conjunction with Mercury. There is an air of frustration. There is pressure to move and nothing is moving as fast as we would like. With Neptune also in the frame it feels like we’re moving through thick fog. Words spoken might not be all that clear. Communication could be obfuscating or downright false at this time. There is a lot of energy in Aries with 6 planets jostling one another in a line. Shoves and pushes and attempts to drive forwards but nothing is moving past Saturn just yet.

In a sense it feels like the newness occurs on the other side of the Saturnian wall. Neptune, Mercury, and Mars cannot see yet what that is. The beginnings are unclear but what is clear is that something is starting! There might be invisible forces at play with this push to the new. We are all traipsing forward slowly with a storm brewing behind and around us overhead. We will feel the urge to run but remember if you do you might hit the sudden stop of Saturn. Let’s weather this period of frustration and obfuscation as best we can. Move slow and do your best not to rush. Move like you would through a dense fog in wet boglands, slowly and carefully.

Pluto is whispering to Mars from Aquarius. The sextile from solid air to cardinal fire is another shove. It might not be a typically strong aspect but Pluto adds to the intensity. There might be a sweetness somewhere to the frustration or a sincere desire to take action despite or without all the facts.

Mars in his domicile is courageous, youthful, and enthusiastic. You might be feeling really keen and motivated to start something. Saturn will however have something to say about it. There might be a road block put in place or something to make you think twice about how you will proceed. Is there a necessary step to take beforehand? You might need to manage your own expectations or understand yours or others limits around something.

Take it easy/Tóg go bog é

Physically we’re likely to feel tired and wired all at once. For the next couple of weeks please move slowly. Take your time. Don’t lose your head. Mind your words. Try and have all the facts to hand before making a decision. Discernment is not strong right now. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. The Moon is dark and co present with Saturn and Mars both drying planets. Sleep might not be easy but take it when you can. This next few weeks will likely be a slog but we’ll get through it. Do what you can to mind your mental and physical wellness. Watch out for the sharpness of your own words and the words of others.

Ardbhrú / High Pressure

It could be a bruising time for the Aries part of your chart. Much pressure is being applied however the results of pressure can be quite beautiful. This new Moon makes a whole sign square aspect to Jupiter. An indication that this pressure might require us all to stretch in some way for growth and abundance. It is also worth remembering the most beautiful and solid material is made from high pressure, diamonds come to mind and rock formations evident along coastal edges.

As the Sun passes into Taurus and we welcome in Bealtaine the skies will feel different. The great awakener Uranus will have changed sign into a place that its arguably more suited to. The feeling of wired-ness will continue Mars will be separating from Saturn though still co-present. Things might get moving once more but don’t expect it to be smooth. It might move in a direction that you were not expecting.
