Can you feel it? Can you see it? The Sun is in exaltation in Aries. Spring has sprung. Where I live in the North of Ireland the clocks have also sprung forward an hour. There is more daylight and the light is growing every day. The Moon is at her fullest and brightest as she sits opposite the Sun. The Aries Libra axis is one of equinox. Equal light and equal night – the tipping point of the year where new seasons begin. Aries being the astrological New Year and return of the light and Libra heralding the beginning of the dark’s return.

This full Moon occurs in Libra, the diurnal domicile of Venus. A place of relationality, of beautiful potentiality. A place where we may experience initiation, turn arounds or turn overs. What possibilities are shaping up now that were seeded at the Libra New Moon on 21 October 2025? During that 2025 lunation Venus was co-present with the new Moon with Jupiter square. This time around Venus is again in a Venus ruled sign with Jupiter square. Both benefics involved once more to wrap up this story possibly quite suddenly around the time of the full Moon.

Ag Fás le Chéile /Growing Together

This lunation occurs within the terms or rules of Mercury. Are ideas or thoughts or words in or relating to relationship becoming verbalised, lit up or revealed somehow? Are you giving voice to something that has been growing since the Libra New Moon? Giving voice to shine light upon inequality that you or others are experiencing? Your voice, your words have support from Venus and a motivating, inflating, edge busting push from Jupiter. Are you speaking to an imbalance in a new way that is forcing some growth in your life?

The full Moon will add an emotional element that may also be fuelled by Jupiter. Can you use words to express these emotions? Perhaps the change you seek is a more realistic than first imagined. People may be more agreeable and open to what you are expressing. You might not need to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Status quo disruptor Uranus edges ever closer to the end of Taurus and so things will not remain the same.  

Venus the ruler of this lunation is at home in her domicile of Taurus. She has the freedom to express herself in a typical Venusian way. Cohesion, relationship, togetherness, beauty, art love, and friendship are the order of the day. Venus is in good stead to offer support from this place. She is sweetening the Taurus house of your chart and adding a boost to the Libra part of your life however with added intensity. She is applying to a square with Pluto. This sweetness goes deep. What is expressing through this lunation is not a throw away fickleness but a desire that may change shape or transform the cohesion that is available to you. Expect moments of deep emotional connectivity with others, particularly women, sisters, and femmes.

This Libran lunation is sitting opposite Saturn separating from Neptune. Saturn is still under the beams of the Sun and in his fall in Aries. The exaltation ruler of the Moon is in bad shape and invisible. That feeling of dissolution continues. The quick sand type feeling abounds however you might not realise how quickly certain structures are sinking. Saturn is also in a sextile with Pluto activating the Saturn Pluto conjunction of 2020. We may see more echoes of the Covid era; continued travel restrictions, working from home, an increased reliance on communication technology. The sextile is an easier aspect and of the nature of Venus. This should be relatively less harsh nor may not last as long as the 2020 version of life.

Mercury is still a bit wonky in Pisces. The artful and poetic word is useful, the reading of legal jargon or requirement for discernment via rationality less so. Things will still be forgotten, tripped over, misread. However, Mercury is applying to a beautiful trine to an exalted Jupiter in Cancer. There is an expansiveness to the outlook. This full Moon may be illuminating a bigger picture. The longer term. A wider context in which this moment sits and makes some sense in.

Mars also in Pisces is un-aspected and pushing forth the agenda of the Aries situated planets alone. Aries may be awash with dreams, ideas or ideologies that are being used as motivation for action. The skies are reflecting the difficulty in dealing with hard cold facts, identifying what is reality is problematic and untruths and half-truths drip continuously into our days. The Aries part of our charts feels sludgy with things happening both quickly and glacially. Spinning wheels and getting nowhere fast, leaning on once reliable structures that disappear beneath our weight. We might feel a bit lost and unsure how to proceed. Go slowly until Saturn becomes visible in mid-April, especially if in a Saturn ruled year.

There is beauty, faith, hope, and pleasure available to us however it’s occurring against a back drop of increased uncertainty. Things continue to feel completely mad and out of control and mundane and monotonous all at once. In the midst of the end days of globalisation we are all still keeping on keeping on. The problem with over reliance on finite resources is abundantly obvious; the global power structures that rely on this extraction and the violent means with which they will achieve their increasingly alarming aims is crystalising. Make community, make art, make music, make poems, and write and lean into joy, love, pleasure and friendship during this Libra full Moon. Seek pleasure in the growth edges of life whether easy or difficult. We are each changing in order to change our world.
